The Benefits of running in the morning

Posted on Posted in Fitness

Regular running or jogging is a popular form of physical activity. Running is an appealing exercise because it doesn’t cost a lot to take part and you can run at any time that suits you.
Running can:

  • Help to build strong bones, as it is a weight bearing exercise
  • Strengthen muscles
  • Improve cardiovascular fitness
  • Burn plenty of kilojoules
  • Help maintain a healthy weight.

How running is different from Jogging

Major difference between both is intensity. Running and Jogging, the aerobic exercises help the body to lose weight and make general improvements in ones health. Jogging requires more muscle than walking and can be done by anyone, where as running requires more effort than jogging. It is more intense than jogging. Running speed is affected by stride length and frequency as well as total body fitness.

Let’s Start

Exercising soon after waking up gives your metabolism the swift kick in the but it sometimes needs. Odds are, you will not only remember to eat breakfast before heading off to work, but it will taste remarkably better than if you had simply crammed a burned bagel in your pie hole between sips of lukewarm coffee while sitting in traffic on your way to work.

The benefits of exercise linger throughout the day. You continue to burn calories after the workout is done. Use this benefit during the day when you are eating instead of when you are sleeping. By keeping your metabolism elevated, you will be burning more calories all day long.

Resistance training is awesome, but word on the street is that running might help produce even stronger bones than cranking out reps. As an impact exercise, running helps build the muscle that lower-impact workouts ignore, keeping bones healthier even as they age.

Running for just an hour a week can reduce the risk of heart disease by almost half compared to non-runners. And for those already hitting the recommended physical activity guidelines, an extra spurt of exercise can lower the risks of heart disease even more. (Just be mindful not to overdo it and cause more damage than good.)

Choosing Apparels for running and Jogging:-

  • Don’t wear your old sneakers. Poorly fitted shoes are a common cause of injuries.
  • While buying the shoes, wear the socks you intend to wear while running.
  • The running shoe should bend easily, feel comfortable and have a wedge of shock-absorbing material in the heel.

Lets start and running or jogging to make our life healthy and wealthy!!
